How can I activate a new license on a client, without using a graphical interface?

The following article describes how to activate a product manually: AntiVir activation

Sharing the license file via the Internet Update Manager is described in the following article: Add a license via Internet Update Manager

If you are not using Security Management Center nor the Internet Update Manager, but you want to add a new license file on multiple computers, you don't have to activate it manually on each one.

Use the following command line to add the license:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Avira\AntiVir Desktop\avcenter.exe" /updatelicense= "C:\Program Files (x86)\Avira\AntiVir Desktop\hbedv.key"

You can use this command in a batch file, which will run after the users log in and will centrally trigger the license activation (e.g. from a network share)
